Cordaware bestinformed Infoclient version 6.3.8.4 or higher is required to use the best accessible window. |
In this chapter, you will find all the settings for having Infos read out with the JAWS screen reader. Alternatively, you can find the settings for the speech output of the Infoclient in the Barrier-free chapter.
|
Further information on the JAWS screen reader can be found here. |
The aim of the configuration shown here is to open the best accessible window when new Info is received so that JAWS can access it and read the Info. The Infoclient itself does not read out the Info, and the Infoticker/Pop-up or Infogrid are not displayed.
To realize this, you can use the following Infoclient.ini settings.
|
Infoclient.ini settings can be adjusted via the Infoclient.ini in the installation directory of the Infoclient (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\Cordaware\Infoband) or via the configuration app in the web interface under Clients > Configuration. |
1. Use Useaccessible=True to activate the functionality of the best accessible window. To deactivate the Infoclient's own voice output, also set Voiceuse=False.
2. Set the InfoToBest=True setting to activate the functionality of the best accessible window. Further information on best accessible can be found in the Barrier-free chapter.
3. Set ShowInfohistoryOnly=True to display only the best accessible window and not the Infoticker or pop-up.
The complete setting in the Infoclient.ini looks like this:

[general] Useaccessible=True Voiceuse=False InfoToBest=True ShowInfohistoryOnly=True |
