Please note if you're using USB buttons or other hardware in order to initiate alarms:

 

Many USB buttons can simulate a keystroke. There problem is, that the USB buttons often don't register, that you have pressed and held the button. This way no alarm will be initiated.

In order to ensure a smooth functionality with those devices, the time how long you have to press the key combination in order to initiate an alarm has to be set to 0 MS.
