Virtualization and Containerization

 

Cordaware bestinformed® can be operated flexibly on virtual as well as physical servers. In addition, Cordaware bestinformed® is compatible with Citrix and certified accordingly as Citrix Ready.

 

In addition to traditional deployment as a VM, containerization via Docker is also supported.

 

Cloud and Hybrid Operation

 

Cordaware bestinformed® can be seamlessly integrated into cloud or hybrid environments. By using a Cordaware bestinformed® cluster, on-premise servers and cloud instances can be combined with one another to ensure a highly flexible infrastructure across multiple locations.

 

High Availability, Clustering

 

For fail-safe environments and large client numbers, Cordaware bestinformed® offers comprehensive options for high availability:

 

•Server Clustering: Multiple server instances can be interconnected into an active cluster to guarantee optimal performance, data redundancy, and high availability. Further configuration options offer cold standby servers, Docker containers, as well as a Kubernetes environment.

 

•Load Balancing of Infoclients: Infoclients can be configured via a server list. If a server fails, the client automatically switches to the next available node. By using the integrated load balancing of the clients, these can be distributed across the servers via round-robin.

 

The recommendations and requirements regarding hardware and operating systems are to be implemented in the same way for all server environments.
