In this chapter, you will get more information about the specific functions for the data security/privacy in Cordaware bestinformed.

 


 

Deleting user data:

 

It is possible to delete the data of a user, which he created in a role (Team).

 

For this, open the app System (local) (System -> System (local)) and click on the following button:

 

 

Button_user

 

 

Now enter the domain and username of the user, whose records you want to delete. Only the data of this user will be deleted (e. g. Infos, Filter, Groups, Templates)

 

Windows_user

 

 

 

Please note:

 

For users, which are stored in several domains, this process needs to repeated for every domain of this user.

 

 


 

 

Serverboard settings for the data security/privacy:

 

In the Serverboard, the following entries are available for the section [best_web]:

Function

clean_history_after

Time in minutes. (Default 20160 (2 weeks)).

Cleans up the connection history after the specified time.

This setting can be disabled, by setting the time with the value "0".

clean_client_after

Time in minutes. (Default 20160 (2 weeks)).

Cleans up the content of the recipient overview (Response, Recipients, Sent, Autoupdate archive).  

This setting can be disabled, by setting the time with the value "0".

last_clean_history

Time stamp - e. g. 2018-05-15T00:00:00Z

Saves the time, when the connection history last cleaned up.

(Last execution of "clean_history_after").

last_clean_client

Time stamp - e. g. 2018-05-15T00:00:00Z

Saves the time, when the recipient overview last cleaned up.

(Last execution of "clean_client_after").

 

 

Please note:

 

For performance reasons, the settings "clean_history_after" and "clean_client_after" only take into account data in 1440 minute steps (corresponds to 24 hours).

 

Example:

 

All values up to 1440 thus correspond to a deletion interval of 24 hours. All values between 1440 and 2880 correspond to an interval of 48 hours.
