Basic principle

Selfexpanding recipient groups are an extension to the functionality of the location based alerting.

The basic concept is to sequentially extended the recipient group by using the target-locations of the previous sequence as source-location of the current sequence.

This method of selfexpanding recipient groups can be used in case security guidelines require a certain minimum number of recipients.

The minimum number of recipients as well as the maximum number of expansion-steps are configurable.

In addition, it is also possible to include only those computers in the minimum number of recipients, on which a user is currently logged on and active, meaning that computers, on which either a screensaver or the logon is active, wil be excluded form the minimum recipient count.

In the initial step, the alarm doesn't address enough recipients.

In the next step, additional targets are added to the first group of recipients in order to reach the minimum number of recipients.
