Share RDP connection

In this chapter, you will learn how to share a Remote Desktop (RDP) connection via bestzero®.

First, make sure that the server on which the Hive is installed can establish an RDP connection to the desired address.

1. Create a new app

Instructions for this can be found in the chapter Create a new App.

RDP-1RDP-2

RDP-3RDP-4

RDP-5RDP-6

2. Zero App Detail

Here you specify the address, port and optionally the link to open via an RDP application.

Example:

Address

rdp.cordaware.test

Port(Range) Port,Port1-Port2

3389

Link to open the app, for all operating systems

rdp://full%20address=s:rdp.cordaware.test:3389

Link to open app, for Windows

mstsc /v:rdp.cordaware.test:3389

The address "rdp.cordaware.test" and the port "3389" can be replaced at will.

Please note:

The spelling of the links to open via an RDP application is different on Windows than on macOS, Android and iOS.

More information about the Remote Desktop URI scheme can be found here.

3. Zero App Source

Specify the IP address or FQDN to the remote access destination, port 3389 and TCP as the protocol.

Example:

Address

192.168.1.36

Port(Range) Port,Port1-Port2

3389
